_Cyborg Misprision

Brooklyn Navy Yard, New York

Artificially intelligent software is the next frontier and it is going to change to way we do just about everything.  How will this effect the profession of architecture, or even how we see the world?  This project is in collaboration with convolutional neural networks.  AI software was used to produce drawings and images in pursuit of the uncanny.
This project is set in the Brooklyn Navy Yard and occupies two of the dry docks currently left vacant.  Here we are exploring drawings that bridge the gap between information drawn for humans and information drawn for machines.  It is produced for a time when the difference between man and machine becomes less distinct where these drawings are read by eye and lens simultaneously.
